Alternative Care Services, Inc. provides an array of services to persons with physical, developmental and intellectual disabilities as well as for the elderly. Services are designed to prevent institutionalization of Medicaid eligible participants. Each participant is treated with respect and dignity regardless of personal challenges.
SERVICES OFFERED INCLUDE:
- Personal Assistance/Habilitation (PAB I/II/III): Service provides assistance to enable participants attain maximum level of function in activities of daily living, domestic skills, work opportunities, community access, assistance to and from medical appointments, and special occasions to enrich participant's experiences.
- Respite: Provide short term relief for primary family caregiver. Service is provided in the person's home or in the home of the chosen respite worker.
- Skilled Nursing: Services provided by a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to assure that participant's medical and health need are met in order to live in a community setting.
- Specialized Outreach Service: Assist caregivers in appropriate crisis intervention to manage individual's disruptive behaviors. Provide counseling and training to caregivers and participants.
